Dear Folks, as we’ve walk through the last days of 2022, we’re are caught with Father Time betwixed and between the old and the new in Life’s Calendar!!
This time seems designed to give us a moment to reflect on the super and small, the tiny and the tall moments and events of the last 12 months! It a time to glance over our shoulder and see with greater clarity the value of our challenges and the times of accomplishments.
This last year saw days of more choices, more opportunities and more services available finally within our reach again. After a substantial time of many daily offerings being closed and boarded, it certainly gives us a clear picture of what we have restored that we had missed for so long! That life experience gives us carrots to carry as we move into our future new year ‘23. We can individually evaluate what we had, what we lost and what we now have again? That drought of interaction and consequent isolation taught us many lessons….which we have the right to ponder and preserve for our future decision-making privilege!
Most importantly we can choose to share in this twilight between years the gratitude that we feel for those that did so much during the long arduous trip….The Maine people’s work ethic shone as demonstrated in the medical service providers, the operations that kept their fleet rolling and those that stocked the shelves of necessary goods to sustain us. There were establishments who literally upended and expanded their production lines to develop and produce necessary medical products that sustained Maine and our Country. For a small state that sits on the most eastern edge of the US, our people rose to every challenge to participate and contribute to the Health and Wellbeing of Humanity!! We can Thank all of these Folks, starting with those we know well and have relationships with and then to all who work within our establishments and organizations! They stepped up and gave us “Hope” to hold strong and recover!!
To that end for a new beginning, I share my wishes to YOU for a Blessed Happy New Year 2023~
