Press Release: New Gloucester Charter Moves to a November Vote

On August 23, 2022, at its 28th regular meeting, the New Gloucester Charter Commission voted unanimously to submit -- and has now submitted -- its Final Report (which includes the Proposed Charter) to the Select Board. The charter will now go to the voters at the November election. You will soon be able to read the proposed charter and a summary at www.newgloucester.com.
