PRESS RELEASE: Gray Republican Office Opens

Gray, Maine Republicans Open Headquarters on Main Street with Local Candidates and Ribbon Cutting

GRAY, Maine - On Saturday morning, September 24, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., the Gray Town Republican Committee officially opened a temporary headquarters at 13 Main Street, #6, in the small shopping plaza across from Cumberland Farms. The office will be open until just after November 8, 2022, Election Day.

The Ribbon Cutting ceremony included four local candidates: three from Gray: Amy Arata, running for re- election for House Seat #104, David Reed, running for House Seat #105, and Jennifer White, running for Senate Seat #25, and one from Raymond: Greg Foster, running for House Seat #86. State Representative Sue Austin from former District 67 attended, as well as Marty Meaney, a member of the Gray Town Council.

Members of the Gray Republican Executive Committee and the Committee Chair, Peter Falkenberg Brown, joined the candidates in cutting the ribbon. Pastor Darwin Vail opened the ceremony with an invocation. After the ribbon cutting, all those in attendance congregated inside for a meet and greet with the candidates.

The office was opened to help spread the word about local and state Republican candidates and to help get out the vote on November 8. Yard signs and literature are available for those who need them. The Gray Republican Committee also meets once a month.

The Chair, Peter Falkenberg Brown, said, “I want to thank the incredible volunteer efforts of our local committee members. They worked magic in a very short time.”

Brown also stated: “The 2022 midterm elections are a crisis point for America’s economic health, its security and safety, and its cultural well-being. All freedom-loving American citizens need to vote Republican on November 8—not because Republican candidates have all the answers, but because Hard-Left elements in the Democrat Party have brought America closer to ruin in the last two years than anyone could have imagined. It’s

time to stop the Left’s descent into poverty and tyranny.”

The office hours are Mon: closed. Tue and Thu: 4-8 p.m. Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun: 12-3 p.m.
